How Layered Application Works
Layered aromatic topical routines involve applying essential oils in a specific sequence, using intentional application strokes and timing between layers. Common elements include:
- 1.Feathering: Light, feather-like strokes along the spine to disperse oil evenly.
- 2.Layering: Applying oils in a specific order, allowing each to absorb before the next.
- 3.Carrier oil: Using fractionated coconut oil between layers to prevent sensitivity.
- 4.Warm towel: Optional warm compress to enhance absorption after all layers are applied.
Note: These techniques are for educational purposes only. Avoid applying oils to broken or irritated skin. Do not apply to mucous membranes. Seek professional guidance for health concerns.
